The 2nd Annual Botswana Internet Governance Forum. The event was themed 'Digital Inclusion for All'. The delegates discussed, exchanged information and shared good practices with each other. The event facilitates a common understanding of how to maximize Internet opportunities and address risks and challenges that arise. Thank you to our participants, especially panelists and most importantly our key note speaker Hon Thulagano Merafhe Segokgo, Minister of ICT. The internet has and will continue to change lives for many.

We had a successful day launching our flagship community program; Internet for Development in Rural Botswana. We are going to train VDC leaders nationwide so that they become power internet users and can compete with other villages such a Palo Alto, California..As the leader of Internet Society Botswana Chapter, I strongly believe economic growth can be achieved through through advanced digital literacy programs.
